Yes. Everyone who uses the library must be 18+ of age, establish a research need that requires the use of The Huntington’s collections, identify specific materials, and present the required form(s) of identification at orientation. Research partners must:
- Be prepared to answer the following questions concerning your research:
- What are the primary goals of your visit and the general focus of your research?
- What specific items and/or collections do you anticipate working with?
- Provide the library call numbers for items/collections you wish to review.
- Create an account in Aeon, the library's online system.
- Request a Library Orientation Appointment.
Be advised: The library can accommodate a maximum of four people in a research group visit.
