The Library welcomes anyone aged 18 and above with a research need that requires the use of The Huntington's collections.
Use this checklist to prepare for your library visit:
- Identify the specific materials you with to review during your visit.
- Create an account in Aeon, the library's online system. If you're not sure if you have an Aeon account at the Huntington, please contact us.
- If you will be working with rare (primary source) materials, log in to Aeon to request the materials. Visit the Aeon guide for instructions.
- Make an appointment on the Reading Room Calendar at least three business days in advance of your first visit.
- Only researchers with confirmed appointments will be admitted to the library.
