Q. I requested an item in Aeon, but I don't see it in my account. What do I do?

This error may occur when a request is submitted to Aeon through a finding aid. Follow the steps below to submit the request:

1. If you have found a collection in the library catalog with an online finding aid, click on "View finding aid and request materials." The finding aid will open in a new tab or window.
2. Click on the "Request items ↗" button. This will open Aeon in a new tab or window.
3. Click "Expand All" in the "Content List" section.
4. Check the boxes next to the items you want to request. If no boxes are checked, the request will not submit.
5. Choose a scheduled date from the calendar.
6. Click "Submit Request."

This process is illustrated in the Aeon information guide in the Requesting Rare Materials section; click on the "Finding Aid" tab and refer to Step 4.
